Gijs Walven: Strengthening Health Systems

Dr. Gijs Walraven, Director of the Aga Khan Health Services (AKHS) of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) is visiting Washington, DC March 28-29, 2011 and will present on AKDN’s regional approach to health systems strengthening in Central and South Asia at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS)

 

He will speak about AKDN’s efforts to strengthen health systems in order to enhance the availability of essential comprehensive healthcare. AKHS is one of the most comprehensive private-not-for-profit health care systems in the developing world, reaching almost 2 million people in Central and South Asia. Find out more event information below:
